‘Jaws’ in 35mm July 1-4

Dr. Seuss’ ‘The Lorax’ July 2- Aug. 12
Inspired by the beloved children’s book, “The Lorax,” by Dr. Seuss, David Greig brings the story to life this summer at The Old Globe Theatre. The musical, originally produced in London, won the hearts of critics and was nominated for the Olivier Award. The

Brit Floyd: Eclipse World Tour 2018 July 2
Brit Floyd is a Pink Floyd cover band that covers hits like, “Animals,” “The Wall,” and “Wish You Were Here.” The band is performing on the 45th anniversary of the 1973 album, “The Dark Side of the Moon.” Brit Floyd is widely regarded as the greatest

Spectators from all across San Diego County are heading to the bay to witness this year’s most extravagant fireworks show. Scripps Ranch Old Pros 10K/2-Mile Runs, Bike Rides July 4
This event entails activities for all ages. Choose between a 10K race, 2-mile run, 12-mile bike ride, 28-mile bike ride, or 50-mile bike ride. All proceeds benefit local high school students and community athletic programs.

24 Hour Film Challenge July 6-7
The 24 Hour Film Challenge is a competition beginning July 6, where participants have 24 hours to write, film, edit, and submit a short film. This event is available for all ages and contestants will watch their creations on July 7.

Patrons of the Prado Masterpiece Gala July 7

Little Italy Summer Film Festival July 7- Aug. 25
Little Italy hosts the Little Italy Summer Film Festival in collaboration with Cinema Little Italy, a series of Italian films with English subtitles. Screenings are every Saturday night in Little Italy’s Amici Park outdoor amphitheater starting at 7:30 p.m. in

San Diego Pride July 14

Over-the-Line Tournament (OTL) July 14-15 and July 21-22
The 65th Over-the-Line Tournament, hosted by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club is an adult-only softball competition that is held two weekends each July.
